Musoma Town - Tanzania

In July 2008, Rodney Bowes, one of our missionaries, after traveling and running several schools in different areas in Africa, received and invitation from the Mara Conference of Tanzania to run a one month training course in a little town called Musoma.
We gladly accepted the invitation and formed a team of 5 teachers, former Wildwood students and had the blessing of teaching 38 lay members of the Seventh Day Adventist church.
Several of them came from a long distance to learn how to be health evangelists in their church and community.
We were residing at the Conference Office where many people came to visit us and plead for help physically, giving us a tremendous opportunity to share Christ with them.
The students prepared health lectures and went to the local town inviting the community for an afternoon in church where they presented several health lectures. We were glad to see several of them and to see their interest in preventive medicine and natural remedies.
Due to that school that was held in the Mara Conference, many other doors were open in Africa and part of our team of teachers went to Kenya to hold a 6 months training.
The Lord has continued to bless and this last month we had our third 6 months graduation in Kenya and many of the graduates have been working in the Lord's vineyard.
